A SWOC analysis on the impact of COVID-19 through pharmacy student leaders’ perspectives

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruptions in many aspects of life across the globe including education provision. This led to major and rapid restructuring curricula assessments as student suddenly moved unfamiliar learning environment. Active involvement students process reform is encouraged. paper aimed explore pharmacy leaders’ perspectives related their during terms strengths, weakness, opportunities, challenges recommendations move forward. A meeting with leaders was convened. Each leader individually reflected on experiences using a structured SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Challenges) framework which then used guide discussion. rated anonymously importance probability themes come up overall score. Online came both negative positive from students’ point view. Despite efforts that were made by college adapt new educational system, there drawbacks may have affected quality education. However, these unprecedented circumstances, given plenty opportunities could positively affect future career delivery Pharmacy programmes need implement strategies within about disaster preparedness build resilience wellbeing.
